Rosé Mansion: Part 2

The Rosé Mansion is back in New York City!

For this event I wore my dress: Butterick Lisette #B6168, a misses keyhole dress that I originally made a year ago for Fashion Week F/W 2019. The fabric is the Dress to Impress Mood Exclusive Cotton Voile. The dress includes a waistband, full gathered skirt, and a gathered bodice with a keyhole at the neckline. The fabric was complimentary to the the backdrops of the exhibit, so much so that I was mistaken for a staff member while standing in a room.

The Rose Mansion (round 2) was similar to last year's event in several ways. Of the 8 rooms, 2 were the same including the Egyptian room and the bathtub escape. This time around they have 3 tubs to accommodate more people! With the addition of more props and an even bigger ball pit, the event should have been a breeze. But with the lack of staff to time your photo taking time, large groups of women created long lines for photo opportunities.

I did love the addition of the lounge at the end of the experience. A wine bar and Dumbo Tacos were there to serve drinks and food! They also had several more props from last year's event including the giant throne, chandelier, and a new Rosé Mansion sign. A few photo booth rooms were also a great new addition, perfect to get photos of your group!
