Sew-Along: McCalls #M7740

I love fabric prints and I especially love to make them myself. That's why I love to use Spoonflower.com

Florals are my favorite; I love walking around my neighborhood and taking photos of the gorgeous flowers that I find. One of my favorite prints is this Hibiscus print that I designed in a berry and lime green. Spoonflower allows for you to print any design on any of their fabulous fabrics. I felt like this was a fun tropical print so I wanted to do a lightweight cotton poplin.

This fabric had then been sitting in my stash waiting for the perfect pattern. I originally wanted to do a full pleated mini-skirt but come-to-find-out I needed more than the 2 yards I had already purchased. After making McCalls M7740 view D, I realized that this would be the perfect pattern for my Spoonflower fabric!

So this time I decided to make M7740 in view B. It needs exactly 2 yards as well as a lining fabric. This time around I decided to make a Sew-Along for you!
