Happy St. Patricks Day 2021!
This year was spent in Chicago, the best place to celebrate this holiday! Even without a green river and parade. I had a great time with a great friend and a great jacket!
I have sewn Kwik Sew K4104 before - as seen in my sew-along here. However, this time I decided to not only make the full-length jacket, but I made view A with the welt pockets.
The fabric I used for this was purchased from JoAnn Fabrics - a lightweight decor fabric - velvet medallion in blush. And for a St. Patricks Day green, I used a Spring Green Floral Crepe fabric from FashionFabricsClub.com (since sold out) for my lining fabric.
As a finishing touch I did a topstitch along each of the seams, outer edges, and even the darts in order to not only press the seams flat, but to create a cohesive quilted look.
